Reagan - Seven

Reagan Michelle is seven! 

-You are winding down 1st grade and just love school and your teacher.  It's been  a great year for you! 

-You are our social butterfly.  If any neighbors are outside playing, you must put on shoes and go join them.

-You have inherited your Dad's love for Harry Potter.  You listen to the books anytime you're alone with your Dad in the car and read the illustrated versions at home.  

-You mastered riding your bike without training wheels last summer and love going to bike rides around the neighborhood.

-You have the biggest heart and are a friend to anyone. You are always thinking of other people and how they feel. 

-This year, you have played volleyball, basketball and now softball.. but you still say you're going to grow up and run track. 

-You are so responsible!  Most days, you come home and start on your homework without us even asking.  I know that I can always ask you if I forget something or need to know where something is. 

-You developed a love for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

-You started your PSR classes at church this year and loved them!  You'd always come home telling us what you learned. You've started paying more attention during Mass and asking lots of questions.

Reagan,

Time is passing by so fast and you are growing up. We are so proud of you and look forward to watching what God has planned for your life.  You are loved more than you even know! 

Reese - Three

 Reese Monroe is three! 

How did our baby girl grow up so fast? 

-You are still a Mommy's girl most of the time, but at times, you would choose Grandma Kathy over me.

-Your speech has taken off! You went from barely being able to put two word phrases together in August to talking in sentences by December.  Your vocabulary has expanded so, so much.

-You adore Zella and look forward to any time you can see her. 

-You've started Prek with Kinley and seem to like it more each day.  Getting on the bus that first day was rough, but you've had 5 days and each day seemed to get easier. 

-You love to sing.  You're favorite songs right now: Old McDonald, Alphabet Song, BINGO, and the Encanto Soundtrack. 

-You've transitioned to a toddler bed, and this summer I think we're going to get you an even bigger Big Girl bed. 

-You LOVE to be outside. You like to swing, slide, play with bubbles or chalk, ride any of the riding toys, and get on the trampoline.

-You've stopped PT for now, but we have some things that we're going to continue to work on with you at home. You're doing amazing and have gone from SMO's to "chipmunks" which are just inserts in your shoes. 

-You call all of your Hawks gear "Daddy's Basketball Game".  You really enjoyed going to the gym to watch Daddy coach.  You would yell "Hi Daddy" on repeat until he acknowledged you.  You also enjoyed the popcorn and snacks from the concession stand. 

-You love going to the zoo!  We've been three times since it opened and I think you'd like to go every day. 

-You enjoy going to watch your sisters play in all their games whether its volleyball, basketball, or softball.  I think you may enjoy all the snacks the most. 

-Your favorite things to watch are still Cocomelon and Encanto. 

-You're basically fully potty trained. You're down to very few accidents and you've been the easiest of all 3!

You are growing up so fast and right before our eyes.  I look back at pictures of that teeny baby you once were and can't believe that you're already three.  You have proven over and over that you have so much strength and determination.  You've conquered so many goals and continue to keep working harder.  

Reese, 

We love you more than words can say and look forward to watching you grow each day.  We thank God that He gave you to us to complete our family. 

Kinley - Five

 Kinley Kate is Five - one whole hand! 

-You have absolutely loved being able to go to PreK this year and you have learned so much. You're going to kindergarten in August and that makes me so happy for you but so sad that it happened so fast. 

-You're our only blonde haired girl and you often ask why you don't have brown hair like everyone else in the family.

-You are witty and so funny.  This makes us laugh and can also test our patience.

-You are fiercely independent.  You will find a way to do anything yourself.

-You're trying so, so hard to learn to ride without training wheels and I just know that by the end of the summer you will make that  happen. 

-You're our animal lover!

-You love to help .. especially in the kitchen. You're always pulling up a chair and asking to help. 

-You've started sleeping in your bed all night more and more ... this makes Mommy very happy.

-You love to wear dresses but also play in the dirt.  You're the perfect mix of girly and tomboy. 

-You're a Daddy's girl through and through. 

You've played volleyball and tball now.  You seem to love them both. 

Kinley, 

You're growing up so fast and we're so lucky to be the ones to witness it each and every day. We love you so very much and thank God that we were blessed with you! 

Reagan - Six

 Reagan has officially reached "Sweet, Sassy, and Six" and that saying couldn't describe her any better. 

     

-She finished kindergarten and loved every minute of it.  We'd ask her how her day was after she got home and she'd always say "good" but as soon as it was time for her to go to bed, she'd have a whole story about what happened. 

-She is a social butterfly.  Unlike her parents, she sees a group of people and will go right up to strike up a conversation.  We like to joke that she is the "neighborhood gossip queen" because she's the first to inform the neighbors of any new information she has. 

-She is a friend to everyone and truly wants the best for everyone.  We've received an email from the PE teacher and a card from another teacher to share how sweet and helpful Reagan is.  That makes us so proud! 

-She tried volleyball, tumbling, and cheer camp this year. She loved them and really loved just being around others.

-She LOVED getting to ride with her Dad to school this year.  That was some pretty special time spent alone with just her and her Dad!  She also accompanied Dad to basketball and track practice.  She loved getting to know all of the "boys" especially when they would race with her. 

-She was a flower girl in Mary and Kimmy's wedding.  She took charge of Kinley and Lyncoln to make sure the job was done the right way.  

-She has leadership skills (aka bossy).  She likes to tell people what to do ... but it will get her far in life! 

-She's learned SO much this year like how to read, write, and do math. Seeing her develop those skills have been amazing! 

-She has lost 6 teeth.  They all started falling out at the same time, but she hasn't lost one in a while. 

-She loves movies.  She's going to be her Dad's movie buddy for sure! 

-She has started her 2nd Tball season.  Her and Kinley are on the same team.  Each game is fun because it seems like she knows everyone.

-She wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up but also a teacher.  She loves to draw, write, and create. 

-She has moved on from "little kid shows" to watching shows like The Baby Sitters Club.  

She is just growing up right before our eyes. There is something about kindergarten that just made her grow up so fast. She still loves to cuddle up on the couch, and I sure hope that doesn't go away anytime soon.  

Reagan - We love you so very much, and we look forward to seeing where God and life take you.  Always stay sweet and kind!
