Our Story

Bill and I met on match.com in December 2013.  We messaged, talked, and text back and forth for a few months before our first date at El Corral on February 22.  We were both so extremely nervous for this meet, but we sat and talked for 4 hours and then he came to my house to watch a movie.  I would say it went pretty well although he swears that he felt I'd never want to see him again. :) 

Just a couple weeks later, he called me on a Friday after work and asked if I'd want to meet at Texas Roadhouse.  He drove all the way over for just a short dinner.

We continued to see each other most weekends and really enjoyed spending time together.  Summer came and we began to spend much more time together.  

We became "Facebook Official" on June 22.  Everyone knows that it's not a real relationship unless it's on Facebook.  

Summer flew by as we (mostly just him) were driving back and forth from Springfield to Decatur to spend time together.  

I just knew he was the right one for me after our many long talks about life. He seemed to understand me and my connection with Robert's family.  He joined me at Robert's birthday party last year, and it meant the world to me.  

I always told my Mom that I would know that I found the right person when they understand and accept Robert's family ... and Bill is THE one!  I just love him even more for that. 

We got engaged on February 4 ... and have hit the ground running with wedding planning!  

We're looking forward to celebrating together in November with many family and friends!
