Miller Christmas Project

After losing Kendyn, Bill and I had many talks about what we could do to honor her life and keep her memory alive, and we were able to come up with two ways ...

1. A Walk to Remember in Springfield each year. 

2. A Christmas gift donation

Every year at Christmas, Bill and I decided that we were going to buy a toy that we would've bought Kendyn and donate it to Toys for Tots .  It is our hope that in future years Reagan will help us choose a toy. 

We made our first annual donation this past Saturday. 

We thought this was the perfect gift for a child with two parents that are teachers. We had a sad moment of placing this toy in the donation box wishing life was different, but we know Kendyn is celebrating with Jesus.  We will continue to pray for the little boy or girl who receives this gift and hope that he or she gets many, many hours of enjoyment. 

I only wish we would've started this tradition last year ... but the emotions were too raw ..  We can only move forward.

Reagan - Six Months

Half a year ago, this little beauty joined the world and forever changed our lives. 

Height: 26 in.

Weight: 18 lbs 10 oz

This Month: 
-You tried a high chair at a restaurant for the first time.  You aren't a pro yet .. but we're working on it. 

-You attended your first Walk to Remember in honor of you're big sister, Kendyn. 

-You're able to roll from your back to your tummy and your new favorite is to lay on the floor, roll around, and try to get your toys. 

-You've started to notice Peanut and love petting him.

-Daddy taught you how to jump in your jumperoo.
-You had your first doctor appointment that wasn't a well baby .. we now have a nebulizer.

-You celebrated your first Halloween as Batgirl

Likes:
-Swimming and bath time
-Being outside
-Your red spikey ball
-Laying/rolling on the floor
-watching tv

Dislikes:
-Seeing a bottle and not having it 

Reagan, you're growing and changing and we love seeing all the new things you can do each day.  You light up our lives and continue to remind us of your big sister.  We wish we could see you two interacting together.  We're looking forward to celebrating the holidays with you!  We love you so much! .
