Reese - Eight Months

Weight: 17lbs 2oz

Height: 28 in.

This month was all things Christmas. We: 

-Put up our Christmas decorations

-Spent many evenings driving around looking at Christmas lights

-Met Santa

-Celebrated your first Christmas

We also had another two night hospital stay thanks to influenza a.  It seems when you get sick, your body often needs help recovering with oxygen.

Likes: 

-Rattles

-Teething toys

-Baths

-Your sisters

Dislikes:

-Being hungry

-Being left alone in a room

You've been working hard on holding your own bottle this month and are still working to sit up unassisted.  Your favorite is to just roll around on the floor and find things to play with. 

We love you to the moon Reese even if you always keep us on our toes. 

Reese - 7 Months

Weight - 15 lbs 11 oz

Height - about 24 inches

Clothes - 9 months

Diapers - using the last of our 2's and she'll be in 3's all of the time

This month:

-You celebrated your very first Halloween. 

-You had your last moments with sweet Peanut.  It breaks my heart that you won't remember him but I made sure to take pictures.

-You tried out your swing outside and loved it! 

-You were sick, so sick, with RSV.  You spent 5 nights in the PICU and one night in a regular room.  We're so very thankful for all of the doctors, nurses, techs, and prayers that helped get you back and better. 

-Our hospital stay turned you into a Momma's girl even more.  We're back to you wanting me if you see me ALL of the time.  You don't want anyone else to hold you if you can see me.

  

-You're grabbing everything you can and starting to play with toys and sit up.

-You've enjoyed our evening drives of going to look at lights.

-You celebrated your first thanksgiving.

-Singing - of course your favorite it still Fancy Like.

Dislikes:

-Being left alone 

-Mom walking by and not picking you up

All of our little ladies on their first thanksgiving

Daddy and I both think you are our easiest to make smile.  You are a cuddle bug and would sit and be held all day if possible.  Some days, I want to soak up the moments of you being the last baby and hold you as much as possible and some days, its just not possible.
