Reagan - One Year

How are you already one year old?  There are days it feels like you've been a part of our family forever, and there are other days that it feels like such a short time. It's getting tough to take pictures of you sitting still!

How big is Reagan?

This month: 
-You officially can say two words - "ight" for light and "ut" for up. You love pointing to the lights and especially love Scott and Debbie's chandelier in their entryway.

-You've added another tooth which makes 5. 

-You took your first steps.  You're walking 2-3 steps at a time to get to something else to hold onto but you're still not quite sure of walking. Your problem solving skills are so fun to watch.  You know how to move from furniture to furniture to get what you want.

-You are ALMOST crawling the real way.  You still stop to put your head on the ground, straighten your legs, and do some yoga.  Just today - for the first time, you crawled from your bedroom out to the living room without getting on your head!

-You are already quite the pro at sharing snacks.  You make sure Peanut gets a bite every time. 

-You attended your first wedding - Sam and Jaime's. What a great place to wear that Easter dress!  You had a blast watching everyone from Daddy's shoulders. 

-You are tough to take to church because you've found your voice and you love to talk and scream during mass.  This too shall pass ....

-You aren't so scared of your Minnie car anymore ... but you still don't want to ride on it.  You play with it on your terms only. 

-You had your first experience in a swing and you LOVED it.  We will be spending lots of time swinging now that it's warm. 

-You've officially graduated from formula!  Yayyyy!!!  

-You're very close to being done with baby food.  You would eat it forever, but we're trying to get you used to real food. 

-You got to meet your brand new cousin Ryker.  You didn't even pay much attention to him. You had fun playing with Bryn and Z. 

-You make Mommy and Daddy soo proud with your love for books.  You spend lots of time taking books off of the shelf and flipping through the pages. 

-Uncle David, Aunt Sam, Clayton, and Lexi sent you a kitchen for your birthday .. and you just love it.  Your love of cooking is just beginning ... 

-You've discovered the dog bowls ... and toilet water (yuck!) .. Time to start shutting doors.

You are such a good girl, and we are so lucky to be your Mommy and Daddy.  You continue to amaze us as we watch you grow, change, and figure out the world.  Our excitement of chasing you around the house is just beginning.  We love you so very, very much Reagan and we can't wait to see what your next year  has in store!
