Kinley, you're already 9 months and I think this month you've made the most growth. You're definitely not our little baby anymore.
Just this past week, you've figured out how to use your knees to crawl and you've just taken off. You're crawling and pulling up to anything and everything. You fall down and just get back up and try it again. You're on the move and there's no stopping you!
This month, we celebrated your first Christmas! We visited Santa, made and iced cookies, and drove through the lights in Shelbyville (even if you slept the whole time).

We were able to celebrate with so many people who love you like the Roe family, Grandma Betsy, Grandma Laury (and Debby), and the Miller family. You sure enjoyed the excitement but you weren't too into opening gifts. You much rather preferred to play with the paper and the boxes.
You started the month by learning to army crawl, but now you've moved past that.
You enjoyed a visit to Nathan and Kristin's and a nice two week break with Mommy and Daddy off work.
You're jabbering all the time, moving constantly, and still loving all the food. You're almost to the point of giving up bottles because you can't stay still long enough to drink them.
You're still very shy around almost anyone. You warm up quickly but turn to Mommy and Daddy at first.

You're learning so much every day and it's so fun to watch! You ALMOST have your first tooth. It's there just hasn't quite popped through yet.
Kinley, you're loved so much more than you know and we look forward to watching learn and grow!
