Ode to Summer 2018

Our summer is officially coming to a close in just a few short days.  It is SO hard to see this time go! Summer is perfect for our little family because we're able to spend so much time together. As hard as it is to let it go, we are all three SOOO excited that Bill got a job in Decatur and will no longer be commuting!  

I am going to be dropping quite a few pictures to document some of the fun times we had this summer! 

-We started off summer with our 2nd annual strawberry pickin' adventure.  Unfortunately, Daddy wasn't able to join us this year, but this little lady sure LOVED her strawberries!

-We tried to spend as much time as we could in the pool whether it was at our house, Grandma Kathy's, or the Y.  Reagan loves water and we want to keep it that way if possible. 

-We had playdates with cousins.  Zoo trips, visits to Indy, STL, and Jacksonville, vacation with the Jones', and time at Grandma's.  Playing with cousins is always soo much fun! 

-We celebrated Daddy on Father's Day.  He deserves it all.  Reagan sure is one lucky girl to get to call him Dad! 

-Out with the old and in with the new .... flooring that is.  We did it!  Ripped out our old carpet and put in some laminate and new carpet.  We're SO happy we did!

-We had a playdate with Mommy's college friends and their kids.  It's SOO much fun to get together with friends!

-Reagan has figured out Snapchat and loves it! 

-Facetiming with Grandma Betsy is always an adventure whether its the pause, mute, or hang up button. She's soo rotten! 

-We celebrated Kendyn's 2nd birthday.  I so wish that we could've celebrated with her, but unfortunately, we couldn't. 

-Reading, reading, reading ... This girl LOVES books!  We read the same books over and over! 

-Walking!!  This is the summer Reagan learned to walk .. just in time before going back to school!

Last week was a Daddy and Reagan week while Mommy worked, and this week is a Mommy and Reagan week while Daddy works.  She's so lucky to get time with each of us!

We've enjoyed spending extra time with Reagan this summer and watching her learn new things and say new words every day!  Her curiosity amazes us! We're not looking forward to starting back to work full time, but we know she's in great hands with Scott and Debbie!
