Reese - One Month

Happy Due Date Day!  It's still so hard to believe you came an entire month early, but you sure were ready.

Clothes - Newborn

We've spent this month getting used to life as a family of 5 at home.  We're getting better at getting everyone ready and out the door on time.

You've taken your time gaining weight so we've had a few extra doctor appointments, but you're just perfect. 

Your sisters absolutely adore you!  Reagan asks to hold you multiple times a day and Kinley loves to give you kisses and try to steal your blankets. They also make sure you're not left alone in a room, if possible.  They team up to push the rock and play through the house to whatever room we're in. 

This month we celebrated your first Mother's Day by visiting your Great Grandma B. 

Likes:

*Sleeping - You're still sleeping most of the day away it seems. Usually early in the morning you're awake and then around dinnertime. At night, you usually sleep around 4 hours. You wake up around 1:30 and 5:30 almost like clockwork. 

*Being held - If you're calm, you love being with Reagan, Kinley or Daddy but if you're fussy, you want Mommy.  Sometimes it drives Daddy crazy, but I sure do love it. 

*Baths - You love being in warm water or having a warm wash cloth on you.  It it sure to calm you right down

*Bottles - You're eating like a champ. but not always easy to burp.  You're taking 3 oz at each feeding. 

*Stretching - When you're calm, you love to lay on the floor on a blanket and just roll around and stretch.  You roll from one side to another and almost rolled from belly to back. 

Dislikes:

*Being in the carseat and not moving

*When Daddy is holding you and Mommy comes over to talk to you and then walks away .. Daddy gets dirty looks 

*Getting dressed - putting shirts over your head isn't always easy and you sure doesn't like it.
